Be truthful, how many times have you seen or heard an artist who truly believes they are the image or persona, either they or the record label has created? Just imagine, what if Vanilla Ice would have came out & said “my name is Robert Vanwinkle I’m from the suburbs & I can rap”, instead of “I’ve been shot several times & I’m gangsta as hell”, I’m convinced he would be successful in his art today. This is a serious pitfall for artist because when you live like the persona is real, which in reality is just another part of our imagination, then we live life as though it is imaginary.
